A garage CRM, from job card to MOT reminder
Every vehicle, job card, part and reminder in one place, so the workshop knows what is next and customers stop ringing to ask if the car is ready.
- Free first call, no obligation
- A fixed price for each step
- Built around how you work
Where the week goes.
- MOT reminders that never go outYou know a car is due again next year, but sending reminders depends on someone having time to go through the list. Without one, the driver books wherever is nearest.
- Paper job cardsJob cards get oily, go missing or cannot be read. When a customer comes back with a question, finding what was done last time means digging through a box.
- Extra work agreed by phoneA technician finds worn brakes, you ring the customer and they say yes. Later there is a disagreement about what was agreed, and there is no record.
- Parts in, parts outWhich parts were ordered for which car, from which supplier, and whether they have arrived. Returns and warranty claims get forgotten.
- Is my car ready? The phone rings all afternoon with customers asking for updates, each one pulling someone away from the ramp.

What changes on a normal day.
An example of how the system fits into the day. Yours is built around your own routine.
- 8:00The board shows each bay's jobs for the day. MOTs booked online last night have already slotted into the diary.
- 9:30A technician finds worn brake discs. Photos and a price go to the customer by text, and they approve from their phone. The approval is saved on the job card.
- 11:00The discs arrive from the supplier and are marked in, so the technician knows the job can carry on.
- 15:00The job is signed off. The customer gets a ready-for-collection message with the invoice and a payment link, and the phone stays quiet.
- 17:00Reminders are lined up for customers whose MOT is due next month, along with follow-ups on last month's advisories.

Garages: questions about a custom system
- How much does a garage CRM cost?
- Systems start from £999 to build, plus £79 a month for hosting, security, daily backups and small improvements. A fixed price follows a short call. Bookings, job cards and MOT reminders are a common first step.
- Can it look up a vehicle from its registration?
- Vehicle lookup services exist, but they are usually paid services or need their own approval. Where it makes sense for you, we connect one and include its cost in the quote. Otherwise vehicle details are entered once and kept for every future visit.
- Does it replace the MOT testing service?
- No. MOT results are still recorded on the government's MOT testing service, exactly as now. The CRM keeps your own record of the booking, the result and any advisories, so you can follow them up and remind the customer next year.
- Can customers approve extra work from their phone?
- Yes. The technician's notes, photos and price are sent as a link. The customer approves or declines, and the answer is saved on the job card with the time.
- Who owns the data?
- You do. Everything in the system is your business's data. You can export it as a spreadsheet whenever you like, and if you ever leave, you take a full export with you.
- Should I use garage management software instead?
- Many garages do well with established garage management software, especially if you want parts catalogues and supplier ordering built in. A custom system is worth it when you also run other things, such as sales, hire or bodywork, or you want your bookings and reminders to sit on your own website.
