Prices
Every build has a fixed price, agreed in writing before we start. The price only changes if you ask for something that was not in the quote, and we tell you the cost before doing it. Half of the build price is paid to start and half when your site goes live.
What we need from you
Your words, photos, logo and any logins we need, such as your domain or Google Business profile. The 1–2 weeks timescale starts once we have them. You confirm that you have the right to use anything you send us.
Changes and fixes
Before launch you get two full rounds of changes to the design and words. More rounds, or new features, are quoted first and only go ahead if you approve the price. For 30 days after launch we fix anything we built that does not work as it should, free of charge.
Approving your site
The second half of the build price is due when you approve the site and it goes live. If we have not heard from you for 30 days after sending a version for approval, we will check in; if there is still no reply after another 14 days, the site is treated as approved and the balance becomes due. We will always be happy to keep making the changes your quote includes.
Payments
Invoices are due within 14 days. If a monthly plan is more than 30 days overdue, we will tell you in writing and may pause the service until it is paid; we never delete your site or data because of a late payment.
Who owns the website
Once the build is paid for, the design and content of your site are yours. Domain names are registered in your name. If you ever leave, we hand over your website files and help you move them.
Monthly plans
Hosting, Care and Fully managed are optional, paid monthly in advance, and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice. There is no minimum term. Advertising spend is paid by you directly to Google or Meta and is never part of our fee.
Your customers' data
When we host your website, store or system, we hold details your customers give you, such as names, contact details and bookings. For that data you are the controller and we are your processor under UK data protection law. We only use it to run the service you have asked for and on your instructions; keep it secure and access-controlled; use only reputable hosting, email and payment providers that give the same protection; tell you without undue delay if there is a breach that affects it; help you answer your customers' requests to see or delete their data; and, when you leave, return it to you in a standard format and then delete our copies within 30 days.
Recommending us
If a business you recommend signs up and pays for a build, your next month of hosting or care is free. One free month per business recommended.
Keeping your site running
Sites we host are kept online, secure and backed up. We fix problems caused by our work at no cost. We are not responsible for losses caused by things outside our control, such as outages at a domain registrar or a third-party service you use, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
