Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use highkept.com, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, zoom or high-contrast settings. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we build our clients' websites to the same standard.
What we have done
- Text and buttons have strong colour contrast, and nothing relies on colour alone.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Pages use proper headings, labels and landmarks so screen readers can find their way around.
- The quote form works without JavaScript, and its errors are announced to screen readers.
- Animations stop if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Pages reflow on small screens and can be zoomed to 200% without losing content.
Known issues
- Screenshots of client websites and dashboards show what those products look like. Their important content is also described in the text next to them.
- Links to client websites go to sites we do not control, which may not meet the same standard.
