Who we are
Highkept is based in London and owned by its founder, Adnan Takriti. We decide how the details on this website are used, so we are the "controller" under UK data protection law. Contact us about anything on this page at hello@highkept.com.
What we collect
Only what you type into the quote form: your business name, type and area, what you need, your design choices, your name, email address, phone number if you give one, how you would like us to contact you, and your message. We also record the date and time you sent it.
This website does not use optional cookies, advertising trackers or analytics that follow you around the web. See our cookie policy.
Our hosting keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure and block attacks.
Why we use it
To reply to your request, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, build and look after your website. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We never sell your details or add you to a mailing list without asking.
Who else sees it
Your answers are stored with our website hosting provider and sent to our business email inbox. Both providers act only on our instructions and may process data outside the UK under the safeguards UK law requires. Nobody else sees them unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
If you do not become a client, we delete your request after 12 months. If you do, we keep what we need for the work and our accounts for as long as the law requires, usually six years.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them, or object to how we use them. Email hello@highkept.com and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
